General Information

Our college was built by the philanthropist businessman Adem Tolunay. The construction, which started in May 2003 with 38,000 m2 open area and 7650 m2 closed area, was completed in 2005 and opened for service in the 2005-2006 academic year.

Bucak Zeliha Tolunay School of Applied Technology and Business Administration was established by the decision of the Council of Ministers published in the Official Gazette dated 07/09/2007 and numbered 26636. In the meeting of the Higher Education General Assembly dated 13/03/2008, the International Trade Department, Accounting and Financial Management Department, Management Information Systems Department, Tourism Management Department, and Computer Technology and Information Systems Department were opened within our college in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547 amended by Law No. 28880.

Education started in the International Trade Department, Accounting and Financial Management Department, and Management Information Systems Department in the 2008-2009 academic year.

Since the 2009-2010 academic year, education activities have been carried out in the Thesis Master's programs in the Accounting and Financial Management and Management Information Systems Departments within our college. In 2018, the Customs Management Department was also opened, and student admission to this department started in the 2019-2020 academic year.

Student admission to our doctoral programs in the Accounting and Financial Management Department and Management Information Systems Department started in the spring semester of the 2019-2020 academic year.

Student admission to the International Trade and Customs Management Thesis Master's Program in the Customs Management Department started in the spring semester of the 2019-2020 academic year.

The 7+1 (Seven semesters of courses and one semester of practice) education model is applied in all departments of our college.
